Vast Fitness prides itself on delivering exceptional support to every student, backed by a team of industry experts passionate about educating the next generation of health and fitness professionals. However, despite this commitment, they faced challenges with inconsistent results from previous agency partners, particularly when it came to lead quality. This placed added pressure on their sales team, who often had to deal with low-quality leads, leading to frustration and a strain on resources.

Mission

To address the challenges in their digital marketing and sales efforts, Vast Fitness partnered with Grow Business Digitally to improve campaign performance and optimisation, implement HubSpot automation, enhance customer journey mapping, and strengthen business intelligence and reporting.

Methodology

Recognising the importance of placing the customer at the centre of the strategy, we began with an in-depth Discovery Workshop to understand Vast Fitness’s unique selling points and target audience. Through comprehensive research and analysis, we identified the target audience’s needs and preferences using insights from key stakeholders and past customers, clarified Vast Fitness’s unique value proposition in a competitive market, and conducted a SWOT analysis to map the competitive landscape and uncover opportunities.
After gathering insights from the Discovery Workshop, we developed detailed buyer personas and a distinctive positioning statement for Vast Fitness. We then audited and optimised all existing campaign activities to ensure they aligned with the new strategy. For Google Ads, we performed an OptiScore analysis, redefined high-priority keywords, and launched a Performance Max (PMAX) campaign to boost brand awareness and engagement. On Meta Ads, we implemented a full-funnel approach covering awareness, consideration, and conversion stages, complemented by A/B testing to maximise results. Our SEO efforts included optimising existing content, creating new pages and blog posts, and improving search rankings and organic traffic. Finally, with HubSpot integration, we introduced a custom lead scoring system and automated workflows to enhance lead quality and streamline the sales process.

Our strategic approach delivered substantial improvements in Vast Fitness’s digital marketing performance. Lead quality saw a marked increase, driving higher lead-to-sale conversion rates through targeted keywords and optimised campaigns. Campaign efficiency improved, with refined advertising strategies generating greater engagement and conversions. Organic search efforts resulted in an immediate lift in search rankings and traffic, while HubSpot integration enhanced the customer journey and lead management, improving overall sales efficiency. While specific figures are confidential, our six-month collaboration proved highly successful, culminating in Vast Fitness being acquired by a major industry competitor in late 2023. Our partnership continues to flourish as we now also work closely with their new parent company, Clean Health Fitness Institute.
